About the Ranch

Cache Cow Beef Box starts at Cannon Angus Ranch in Idaho, where our cattle are raised with a focus on care, quality, and consistency.

Our herd is built on Registered Black Angus genetics, selected for reliability, structure, and the kind of marbling that produces great beef. We stay involved in every step of the process so we can deliver a consistent product you can count on.

Our cattle spend over six months on open pasture, grazing freely. During the summer, we grow and harvest much of the feed ourselves — including corn, oats, and hay. By doing this, we stay closely connected to what our cattle are eating and how they’re raised.

As they are finished, the cattle are transitioned to a balanced grain ration to bring out the flavor and tenderness that Black Angus is known for.

We take pride in how our animals are handled. They are treated with respect and given proper care throughout their lives. That approach carries through to the final product — beef that is 14–21 day dry aged, processed at a USDA-inspected facility, and shipped directly to your door.

We are also continuing to build for the future. We are in the process of adding Fullblood Black Wagyu cattle to our herd, with limited availability expected beginning December 2026.

From our ranch to your table, our goal is simple: provide honest, well-raised beef you can trust.
